Biography:

I'm a graduate student and researcher coming from a Biomedical Engineering background with experience in multiple interdisciplinary research and laboratory settings. I earnestly enjoy learning and practicing new information, analysis methods, and technologies/software. I've been working in Dr. Greg Gibson's laboratory, where most of my work has focused on studying the variant-trait associations in Crohn's disease by applying Bayesian non-negative matrix factorization to a set of diagnosed patients' genomic and clinical data in order to assess the disease's subtypes and risk.
