Aparna graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Biology in December 2019 and is graduating with a M.S. in Bioinformatics in December 2020. She is currently in the Williams lab, where compares rRNA between different branches of the phylogenetic tree. During her undergraduate studies, she served as the Fundraising Chair for the GT AMSA chapter. Additionally, she was a teaching assistant for a bioethics course and an introductory biology lab, tutored BIOL/CHEM courses for the Georgia Tech Athletic Association, and sang in GT's Chamber Choir. In her free time, she enjoys singing and reading novels.
