I did my undergrad in biomedical science at Reutlingen University, Germany. I got in touch with Bioinformatics during an internship at the Computational Biology group at the University of Southern Denmark in Odense (http://baumbachlab.com/) where I was working Breathomics. I discoverd my passion for Bioinformatics and rejoined the group for my Bachelor's thesis later on. After my graduation I did an internship in the RahmannLab at the University of Essen, Germany, (http://genomeinformatics.uni-due.de/) during which I worked with some proteomic data. I am a current Fulbright scholar at Georgia Tech.
